The children, staff and governors of St Swithun Wells Catholic Primary School are delighted to welcome you to our school. We hope the information contained on the website will be useful and informative and encourage you to come and see us in action.
St Swithun Wells Catholic Primary School was built in 1972 in Chandler's Ford, having replaced Holy Cross School in Eastleigh and continues the tradition of providing a Catholic primary education for the children of the parishes of Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh and the surrounding area. Although we are a Catholic school we are delighted to accept children and their families of other faiths.
The school is named after one of the English martyrs who lived in Brambridge and died in 1591. St Swithun Wells was a teacher and spent his life as a witness to God’s love, teaching others about Jesus and the Gospels.
The school offers spacious accommodation with rooms dedicated to music, the Library and ICT. Extensive grounds surround the building, offering space for the children to enjoy a variety of games activities, an environmental area and quiet garden.
